New Used Truck

For several years now I/we have been driving a mid life ex-soccer mom Chevy Tahoe SUV on our vacations, fishing trips and weekend outings. I've been considering buying a new truck for a couple of years now but can't bring myself to shell out $35,000.00 for a heap of trash.

To make a short story long...

A local young women I know casually, put her truck up for sale a few months ago. I was interested, I called the number and got her brother's cell phone. I assumed he was handling the selling of the vehicle. We talked, I test drove, I made some request, he said "sure", he never called me back.

I continue to see the young women drive her truck with the For Sale signs on it, I continue to think...hummm? Then a few weeks ago I see her truck at the business where she works with the For sale signs gone. I went in to inquire why it was no longer For Sale.

She said she really liked it and had decided to keep it. I told her I had test driven it and wanted to buy it, but her brother had never called me back. She was very surprised because her brother had never said anything to her about it. More...hummm?

I gave her my number and told her if she decided to sell it to give me a call and I would give her a fair price. A week later she calls and says she has taken care of the things I wanted done and wanted to sell it. We got it done and I have a great new used truck.
