We were back at Mount Shasta for a couple days of hiking and camping. This was a hike from our camp at Sand Flat Road on the Everitt Memorial Highway up to Horse Camp, then on up Olberman's Causeway to just below the start of the climber's gully area (8337ft.) on the Avalanche Route.

Total loop miles: 6.8
