* Biking "Avenue of the Giants"
In beautiful Humboldt County, Northern California.
We biked the section between Founder's Grove and the town of Mires Flat. We also took side trips into several of the day use areas, plus we rode through the wold famous Shrine Drive-Through Tree.
22.25 total miles out-and-back.

* New Year's Eve Paddle
A great end to 2017. Drinking champagne, in our kayaks, on the ocean, in the dark, with a full moon overhead.
From Trinidad Harbor, out to open ocean to Flatiron Rock, over to Pilot Rock for champagne, then back in.
