It's been a while since we had the Jackson Karma RG kayaks out, so we went for a short twirl out at the lake and worked on strokes and boat control. Kind of hard in these boats on flat, still water, but always fun to get out and paddle.

* Clover Springs Work-Out Hike
Ok...time to get back in shape! We have been doing a lot of paddling, and have a lot more paddles planned over the next couple of months, but climbing season is just around the corner and there is a lot of work to be done with regard to being "mountain fit".

* Yorty Creek Paddle
Silo's first paddle since abdominal surgery. About 4 miles and she felt great. Getting ready for a kayaking trip to the Sea of Cortez, so we will get in more training paddles next week and weekend.

* Hands Solo - Russian River Paddle
Marcie was laid up with a sore back, Sam was developing a twitch...so he loaded up the Torret for a quick cold weather run down the Russian River. Cloverdale to Asti - 6 miles.
