* Five Day Yosemite Backpack...Cancelled!

Our gear is sorted and ready to pack.

We had plans to take off early next week on a 5 day, 4 night backpack trip in the Yosemite National Park backcounty. However, a late May snowstorm that hit Northern California and brought MORE snow to the Sierra has caused us to cancel. Both access points to our planned entry point are closed because of snow/rockfall and there is no date set to re-open. Plus, we had permits to climb Half Dome, but because of the late winter conditions, the cables have not even been put up.

Oh well, we will re-sort, re-tool, and look at other options.
