* Aarrgghh! King Tide Paddle Cancelled

Packed and Jacked...but the weather moved in and made safety questionable...so the King Tide paddle with Explore North Coast at Arcata was cancelled.

There are a couple other King Tide paddles happening locally, but we decided to stay put and re-plan for tomorrow (Sunday). Planning on heading to the Mendocino Coast to view the tide, eat crab, drink champagne...on a bluff out of the back of our adventure truck.

Update: Minor back injury Saturday afternoon means the weekend at home. Son-of-a-Bitc...

* Biking The Big River Haul Road

Fun day in the redwoods biking along this old railroad grade/logging road. We were there early (like always...Dark Ones Baby!), so had it all to ourselves until we started meeting others at about mile 5 on the way back.

About 17 miles round trip for us.
