Bridgeport Reservoir Camping

We were recently on a fishing trip to the Eastern Sierra and had wanted to camp below Twin Lakes so we would have quick access to fishing the next morning. Because of the government shut-down all the campsites in that area were closed and no dispersed camping is allowed along Robinson Creek (flowing out of Twin Lakes).

We ended up spending a couple nights at the Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground near Bridgeport (about 15 minutes away from the Twin Lakes area), and found it to be very relaxing and peaceful with the campground full of fall foliage. We highly recommend this place if you want to camp in that area.
