Where the spirit leads the feet will follow.
Down distant paths for unmapped miles.
Heads forget but hearts remember:
The art of living knows no bounds.

* Ruth Lake

It was a leisurely weekend at Ruth Lake in the Six River National Forest. We drove the back way in on Alderpoint/Zina Road from Garberville on Hwy 101. We took the same road out on the way home, but headed south on Bell Springs Road for a little more driving adventure. All of these roads are small two lane pavement or dirt backcountry drives.

It was a fun relaxing weekend, but now time to reorganize and pack for an upcoming extended Southern Oregon trip.

* Hat Creek Area Odds And Sods

Around camp and exploring backcountry hiking and fishing opportunities.

We fished three days, but I never bothered to grab a camera when we went, which was odd.
