Where the spirit leads the feet will follow.
Down distant paths for unmapped miles.
Heads forget but hearts remember:
The art of living knows no bounds.

* Blogger Bombs My Template!

WTF!

I was using an old, out of date Blogspot template that I started with several years ago. I guess they felt it was time I upgraded.

It's all whack right now, but at least it is working. I will update the elements as I have time to get things back to something that resembles what it was...which I liked.

* Lake Solano Paddle

We had a nice relaxing paddle, then lunch in the park, with carl and Svetlana P.

Lake Solano is a little jewel of a lake about 5 miles west of the town of Winters, Ca. No motors of any kind allowed, so it makes for peaceful and leisurely paddling.

* Backyard Buddies

Our backyard resident squirrel couple have really been enjoying the new wildlife mix we have been feeding them. They disappeared for awhile and we thought they might have moved out because of lack of food. We are glad they are back and just hoping their busy little lives are more pleasent with a full belly.

* Loon Lake Weekend

A fun and relaxing weekend at loon Lake in California's Eldorado National Forest. We hung out around camp and did a hike back in to Spider Lake for a little island hopping.
