* The Good News Is....
...I ordered a new Partner Steel 22" two burner overlanding/camp stove. I have been wanting one for many years, but was always hesitant to purchase one because of the cost.
The bad news...On a recent extended trip, our old Camp Chef Everest two burner wasn't performing right, plus both burner ignitors were rusted off and didn't work. It still worked good enough to get the job done, but it needed some repairs and a good cleaning. Well, once home and while taking the Everest apart, I ruined one of the brass gas lines and rendered the stove un-operable.
I'm bummed in the sense that I like that stove and it has worked well for us for many years, but I think it was time for a replacement/upgrade.
