Redwood Coast Cabins & RV Resort
Spent another Humboldt County night at this old KOA Campground that was bought out and opened under a new name. The people that run it seem very nice and accommodating, and this time of year the campground and small RV portion of the place is mostly deserted. We usually just camp out of our truck and they give us one of the small RV sites (probably because we are a small RV).
It's located a couple miles North of Eureka off the 101, easy off/on, and centrally located for all the cool stuff in Humboldt. If you are ever in that area and need a nice clean place to camp, a cabin to stay in, or are towing a trailer/5th wheel, you should look them up. They also take reservations.

Christmas Season Stone Lagoon Paddle
Finally got back up to Humboldt County to paddle with the Explore North Coast club. Until just recently, all their paddles have been suspended since to onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. More paddles planned over the next few months, so we are looking forward to getting up there again on a regular basis.
A few pics...mostly at the lunch spot.
