New Laowa10mm Lens Test

Trying out a new Laowa 10mm f/2 lens for my Lumix cameras (Micro Four Thirds).

I took the Laowa 6mm f/2 with me to Spain this year and loved the images it produced, but even with the "Zero-D" claim, there was a lot of distortion when photographing the taller structures like cathedrals. We are going to Nepal next Spring and I wanted to try this 10mm to see if I might like it's results better. The 10mm is even smaller than the 6mm, so size/weight is a plus.

Like the 6mm, the 10mm is a manual focus lens and I was having challenges getting the sharpest image because of my bad eye sight and the bright sun, but I love the color profile these Laowa lens create paired with the Lumix cameras.

The next test will be some structure and mountain shots.

The Laowa 10mm paired with the Panasonic Lumix GX9.

Hat Creek Valley Camping and Fall Foliage

We recently spent a week in Northern California's Hat Creek Valley camping, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the changing season. What an amazing place and one of our favorites for getting away and just relaxing.

Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, Spain

We walked through the Cathedral and the museum, then joined a private tour of the Cathedral rooftop for some amazing views of Santiago.
