A quick trip to hike through the Laguna de Santa Rosa Preserve near Sebastopol, CA. We have driven by here many times in the past, so we finally went and hiked through it. We will probably come back and kayak it this winter.

* Lake Sonoma Paddle and Clean-up
The forecast was for clouds and rain, we didn't feel like driving a long distance since we just did that yesterday, so we made the 10 minute drive to the Yorty Creek launch on Lake Sonoma and did a day trip out to the Cherry Creek arm.
It was National Coastal Clean-up Day, so we did our own clean-up and picked up and hauled out three bags of shore litter. At one point it rained on us, but it was beautiful out there as we had the whole arm mostly to ourselves.
