We hiked the High Peaks Trail from Bear Gulch Trailhead over to the Balconies area, with an overnighter in the North Wilderness area. 11 miles total.

* Sutter Buttes Transect
With the Sutter Buttes Regional Land Trust, we did the High Transect hike lead by landowner Marty Steidlmayer and Geologist/Volcanologist Brain Hausback.
Starting at Bragg Canyon on the west side, we traveled mostly cross-country for seven miles, ending at the historic Dean Ranch on the east side.
