* Point Reyes Weekend

So much fun at beautiful Point Reyes this past weekend. A house rental, Amazing food, drink, and friends. It was a little windy Saturday as we did the 12 mile Mount Wittenberg/Arch Rock loop hike, but still very enjoyable.

Saturday night everyone pitched in to create a delicious potluck style meal with more fine adult type beverages. Great times!!

* Maple Creek and Big Lagoon Paddle

Sunday we launched at the Big Lagoon County Park, paddled around to the highway, and then headed up Maple Creek. We got in about a mile and were stopped by a log jam.

We paddled back out, seeing Elk along the way, and paddled into the wind as we headed for the beach. I quick lunch, then decided to paddle in because of the wind.
