I've been having fun playing around with some photo effects software.

* Mendocino Coast
We headed over to Liquid Fusion Kayaking in Fort Bragg early this morning to pick up another Dagger Torrent Sit-On-Top whiter water kayak. We ran into Safeway and bought a fresh crab and a bottle of Roederers sparking, then headed south down the coast to the mouth of the Navarro River to see if it was open. It was, so we can plan on coming back in a couple weeks to kayak up the river.
There were a few surfers out, so we spent about a half hour taking picture, had lunch, then headed back home.

* December Storm
This is the creek at the back of our property. It was about four feet higher yesterday, but still not close to flooding. We got a nice flush-out, which we haven't had for several years. Nice storm!
