* Lake Tahoe Paddle

From Sand Harbor, we paddled down the east shore for about 2.5 miles, then out into the lake and bee lined it back to the put-in. We started early, but still encountered some 2 foot swells on the paddle back. By the time we had loaded up and were driving back to South Shore, there were white caps and 4 wind waves. Hope all the snuggly bears that slept in and started late got back to their put-ins safely.

Total miles: 4.25

* The Pots

A hike down Silver Creek to an area known as "The Pots". A fun outing exploring a new place. The water wasn't real cold, so we jump in at the last waterfall pool we got to.

From a vantage point high up on the granite on the return hike, we could see that further downstream there is much more to check out next time.

About a 4 mile round trip hike.
