Geeking
Geeking out organizing my fly tying bench. It looks like plenty more rain/snow in the Spring forecast. All we have received has helped the drought situation here in NorCal immensely, so I'm getting stoked about Spring and Summer fly fishing.

Top 5 Overland Routes for Beginners - California
Ben at Overland Trail Guides put together his list of Overland routes in Claifornia that are suitable for beginners with stock 4x4's.
The only one I have completed is The Lost Coast 4x4 Trail, but I have been in the area of all the others, and I can say they all are in amazing places that anyone will love.

Water Level At Lake Sonoma
The day use area at Yorty Creek out of Cloverdale, CA.
This day use area and car-top only boat ramp has been impacted by the drought and closed for a few years because of low water level, and then COVID. It's great to see the lake filling up again.
It's time for the Army Corp of Engineers to get this Day Use Area cleaned up and operational again (along with the Lake Sonoma campgrounds) in time for Spring use.

Those little juice bar packs you freeze that they always give you with Asian take-out are terrible. I do not recommend.
