Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park

Friday 9/19
Afternoon at Fern Canyon & Gold Bluffs Beach
Elk in marsh at the Fern Canyon Trailhead.

We climbed out of the canyon and onto the James Irwin Trail for a loop back to the start.

In the morning we hiked the Elk Prairie Loop. It's about 2 miles long and circumnavigates the prairie near the campground.
