* Summit Lake to Cinder Cone/Butte lake

With the North Bay Hikes group. We started at Summit lake on the Lassen Park highway and trekked 10.6 miles through the Lassen backcountry, emerging for a climb of Cinder Cone, then on to Butte Lake for a much needed cold beer and refreshing swim.
