* Saturday Sinkyone Sojourn

A day trip up to Usal Beach and Sinkyone Wilderness on California's Lost Coast. It has been about nineteen years since we were there last, and needless to say, things weren't the same.

*Begin Rant* The narrow road in was actually in great shape, but that's not a good thing...it means it is getting a lot of use. When we got down in the canyon where there used to be a little campsite with about 6 or eight campsites, and the trailhead to the Sinkyone Wilderrness, we found dispersed camping EVERWHERE! It's almost like no matter how remote somewhere is now days, people with their broken down cars and cheap tents will find a way to get there and litter the place up. *End Rant*

Anyway, we drove down to the beach and had lunch, watched the ways, and spent a relaxing afternoon.
