* 2015 Year In Review

A look back at the Month by Month highlights of 2015.

January - A fantastic trip driving the levee roads and gravel backroads of the National Wildlife Refuges  around Willows and Butte City, CA.

February - About the middle of January, Silo ended up in the hospital with abdominal surgery, so the highlight of February was finally getting out at the end of the month for light recovery hikes at Lake Sonoma.

March - Move actively persuing recovery activities. Here, a paddle out Yorty Creek at lake Sonoma, CA.

April - 6 nights, 5 days paddling and kayak camping in the Sea of Cortez, Baja Mexico.

May - Not a highlight, but the most memorable event. We lost the old girl, our German Shorthair Katie was 13+ years old. :'(

June - Getting in our first ocean rock gardening with Liquid Fusion kayaking in Fort Bragg, CA.

July - Back to the mountains! Montgomery Peak (and Boundary) in the White Mountain Range, CA.

August - A lot of Northern California was on fire, so we stayed pretty close to home. One trip up to the Lassen area for Tenkara stream fishing.

September - Cooler Fall days lead us to our annual Sacramento River paddle . This year we did a couple sections below Red Bluff, CA.

October - This year kayaking Lake Tahoe and Fall Foliage hunting in the Hope Valley area near South Lake Tahoe.

November - This year we took up whitewater kayaking. Here on the South Fork American River near Lotus, CA.

December - Desert Dirtbag Holiday. New Years Eve peak climbing in Death Valley.
